Much of 2015 and 2016 was spent renovating my first home. An opportunity to sell came up, so renovations stopped.
Please note that in these "after" photos are still incomplete. There is no trim, no backsplash, beams aren't wrapped, and no fireplace insert. Even with the unfinished elements, I am still proud of the transformation.
Old Schwinn frame refinished and converted to fixed/free.
Maple, power and hand, carved bowtie with mahogany inlaid polka dots.
Red oak cookie tables.
Portable battery powered sound systems integrated into old suitcases and other containers.
1/10th scale Pentax camera 3D printed in sterling silver.
This is a Victor Victrola phonograph made in 1923. Found painted at an antique shop. Fixed issue in the motor, stripped all of the paint off, and put a new varnish finish on it. The wood is quite damaged and worn in places, but after nearly 100 years of life, I believe it tells a story.
This is a bench I designed for a relatives garden. It is constructed of steel welded together and has a powder coat finish.
